There’s been widespread anxiety – and no doubt fear, following Monday’s announcement by the President to lockdown South Africa until 16 April 2020. Around the world, the coronavirus pandemic has turned life upside down.
As a result, families are increasingly weary, anxious, uncertain and perhaps even stressed. Focus on the Family remains available to help you and your family as best as we can during this challenging season.
As circumstances quickly evolved last night, and in support of the President’s announcement we have made the transition for our team to work from their respective homes as of Friday, 27 April 2020. Our office, Book Store and Counselling Centre will be closed during the lockdown period HOWEVER you will still be able to reach us by phone. We are available to answer your calls and remain committed to meeting whatever needs you and your family may be facing.
We don’t dispute that the situation is less than ideal – but we’re grateful that technology is allowing us to remain connected and effective throughout this crisis.
To this end, we have created a special page on our website which has been populated with relevant articles, resources and broadcasts which can be helpful during the next few weeks. Click here to check it out now.
While you’re online, please feel free to take advantage of the month-free trial to the Adventures in Odyssey Club by clicking here now. Your children will have great fun, while learning valuable bible lessons.

There’s no question we’re in a difficult season and sailing uncharted waters. Lately, it seems like wind and waves of bad news continue to lash the boat, each crashing a little harder or higher than the previous ones. Yet, the Lord remains in full and complete control.
